Village life can have its drawbacks, not least when you run out of milk or bread and the nearest supermarket is a ten-mile round trip away. Luckily for us, Ingham is one of the increasingly few villages to enjoy the convenience of a thriving store and Post Office.

Ingham Post Office and Stores now has new owners, Karl and Chrissie Knight who have taken over from Ken and Gill Bacon.

On offer is a full range of Post Office services: Banking; cash withdrawals; mail drop and go; mobile phone top-ups; Euros on demand; pre-order foreign currency; utility bill payments.

In the shop you can pick up a huge range of goods such as filled rolls and pastries; milk; bread; sliced ham; sausages; newspapers; greetings cards and ice cream. You can drop off your dry cleaning and even choose from a range of red and white wines, lagers and Crabbies Ginger Beer.

Opening hours are:
